A Handsome Boy.....and Some Life Thoughts.....

Sometimes, well no, actually it's every time I look at our Roo-boo my heart squeezes with pride over how darn handsome he is:D...Isn't he just an extra handsome boy:D?

I am floating in creative bliss the last couple days as I've had very little to no head pain so I feel great. I have so many projects on the go and so many projects I am planning that I am just all giddy and happy...my studio is a mess from busy-ness...the music is blasting (Jon just installed 2 more speakers so of course I must properly test them out:D)...there seems to be ample time for bunny snuggles...fingers are dirty with pastels, which feels amazing because I haven't played around with pastels for well over a year...good food is being made & bellies are happy...cappuccinos are being enjoyed...there seems to be time for episodes of "Gilmore Girls" and "The Tudors" in the evenings with even time for reading (The New Art Doll Quarterly has me completely inspired)...

...all of this goodness naturally makes me think about life and I am learning to let go of my fears that too much happiness will inevitably bring bad luck. I am finally realizing that bad things happen in life weather you were presently on top of the world or down in the gutter...and that being happy and feeling lucky doesn't mean that I don't feel or worry at the exact same time for others...like a friend who just lost her husband...a friend whose possibly facing another bout with cancer...a friend whose career was whipped out from under their feet...or, all the pedestrians being killed in Toronto (14 in 15 days!)...or all the pour souls in Haiti...

...BUT, only I can live my life, it's only one life I get and it's going quickly SO I figure I matter as well ride the high of each great day as much as I can until we hit those inevitably bad ones...and it feels good to realize this and defiantly affects my creative world which is why I share it with you here...

Check out This awesome song by one of my favourite bands "Twelve Girls Band", it is completely resonating with my happy state today...and I am so glad I found a video of it here to be able to share it with you:D...Wishing much guilt-free happiness to you all my dear readers:D

Dear Mandy,

I am so happy to meet you - thank you for coming over to my blog.

I have a fair few blogs I follow these days including creative ones and bunny ones, but I think you are the first person I have found who writes about both and I am delighted. I almost squealed when I clicked on your blog link and came across the lovely Roo-Boo. He is handsome, yes!

And I absolutely agree about the cruelty free thing and never buy anything else - I don't think other people would either if they knew, if the reality of things was more apparent. So much is hidden these days, processes are so complex, life so busy - it is too easy to pop into the supermarket and pick up a bath creme with a pretty label and not ever even think about what may have contributed to its creation.

Anyway... good to meet you and I shall start to 'follow' your posts...

Love Charlotte & Humphrey
xx

Yes, he is so handsome. I am glad you are feeling better. I love that you said you might as well ride the high of each day- that's great, well said. Off to listen to that song... Have a great weekend mandy :)

Mandy Roo-boo is truly a very handsome boy!

Luck is what we make it. We cannot live in fear. We create our own journey and we must do our best to enjoy that journey and not always be focused on what the destination may be. Small bunny hops...stopping to eat some clover along the way. ;)

hugs,
shell

Love the first shot. Its funny to compare Roo now with the starving "little" bunny we rescued. What a transformation.
